Sotto Le Stelle’s superb Town collection of one, two and three bedroom luxury suites enjoys the perfect setting in Picinisco overlooking the beautiful Val Comino. Adopting the philosophy of an Albergo Diffuso, our accommodation is spread among various buildings in the historic centre of Picinisco. We chose not to provide our guests with a bar or restaurant - instead encouraging them to use the local restaurants and bars to meet the locals and to enjoy the real Italy.
Sotto Le Stelle’s quality Country collection of bedrooms are situated in our vineyard at I Ciacca, along with our Winery. These are remote and have very limited facilities (other than heating, modern showers, comfortable beds and the most beautiful outlook).
Whichever you choose, use the time to enjoy Picinisco, Val di Comino and the surrounding area - historic, forgotten and just waiting to be rediscovered.
Accessibility
One of our 2 bedroom suites (“I Modelli“) is designed for wheelchair access, although guests must be aware that the village is a typical hilltop village and therefore many fairly steep slopes are encountered throughout the village. Access to “I Modelli” is along a sloping ramp directly from the main Piazza Capocci (about 15 metres) where car parking is available. Wheelchair access to the I Ciacca winery is possible, as is a journey around Borgo i Ciacca. Access by wheelchair to the bedrooms in this historic setting is not possible.
